The question of good and evil is a recurring theme in the work of Montréal-raised director, screenwriter and documentary photographer, Didier Pigeon-Perreault. In finding good in evil and evil in good, nothing is black or white for him. Fascinated by human behaviour, he draws his stories from the people around him. He likes to play with reality and transform it, which results in works that can resemble documentaries, while being close to fiction. In his practice and in his daily life, he likes to upset, or even provoke, his audience. Hence why he diverts concepts established in popular culture to elicit this reaction from the viewer.
