REGARD online is the extension of the Festival in the comfort of your living room, for a duration of 14 days. Festival-goers who came in person as well as moviegoers from across Canada will be able to continue discovering cinematic gems from our catalog of nearly 200 short films on the Web.

→ Is it possible to purchase a passport to attend in-person screenings?
Yes, the passport for the 28th edition is available now for $95. The student/senior rate is $80.
→ What does the passport grant access to?
The passport grants you access to all screening, Short film market activities. special events and the legendary SiriusXM Cabaret. As a bonus, the passport will also give you full access to REGARD online from March 25 to April 7, 2024.
The passport does not guarantee a seat. Priority entry for the first arrivals.
→ Is it mandatory to purchase a passport to attend in-person sessions?
No, it will also be possible to purchase tickets at a price of $24 for the double bill screenings (two programs) if availabillity allows.
→ When will the box office for the 28th edition open?

Tickets for the double feature screenings will be available for purchase, subject to availability, on February 29th.

→ What exactly is a double bill?
A double bill consists of two (2) different short film programs with a 20-minute intermission between them.
→ Is it possible to get tickets online for double features? Online ticket sales will apply to certain screenings, either to all Youth screenings, all screenings at the François-Brassard auditorium at Cégep de Jonquière, and all screenings that take place on Sundays.
→ Is it possible to purchase tickets at the entrance of different venues for double features before the screenings? Yes, it will be possible to purchase tickets at the entrance of all our venues before the screenings, namely at the François-Brassard auditorium, Théâtre C, and the Centre d’expérimentation musicale. Please note that on-site ticket sales may be limited depending on attendance, so it is advisable to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance to ensure a seat in the auditorium.
→ Is it possible to attend only the second session of a double bill?
You can attend only one of the two sessions, but the ticket price remains the same.
→ Is there a pre-sale rate for the purchase of individual tickets?
No, the pre-sale applies only to the purchase of a passport.

→ Are there reduced prices for students and seniors?
Yes, students and seniors (60 years and older) receive a discount of $15 on the purchase of the passport.
→ Is it possible to access REGARD online without having to purchase the passport?
It is not mandatory to buy a passport to access the on-demand viewing platform REGARD online.

Please note that with the purchase of a passport, you automatically receive access to REGARD online.
→ Can I purchase REGARD online at one of the physical box offices?
No, access to REGARD online cannot be purchased at the physical Festival box offices.
→ Will there be a printed films catalog this year?
This year, in response to our sustainability goals and to produce an eco-friendly Festival, we no longer print a film catalog.
You can find all the information about the programs and films of the 28th edition by downloading the REGARD mobile app or on our website in the programming section. It will also be possible to download the film directory in PDF format, which will be available on the website a few days before the Festival.
→ Are accessibility measures in place for people with reduced mobility or disabilities?
REGARD is a partner organization of CAL in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region.The Companion Leisure Card (CAL) grants free admission to the accompanying party of a disabled person. However, you must pay for your own entry.

→ What is the procedure for obtaining my tickets or passports if I have reduced mobility?
For CAL cardholders, simply call Diffusion Saguenay at 418-698-4080 and press 1 for the box office.

General purchasing policies
Passports, tickets and online access are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
The prices are in Canadian dollars and include all taxes (5% GST and 9.975% QST). Additional charges will apply for any online purchase.
Tickets purchased online are for personal use and cannot be resold.
Passports and tickets will not be replaced if lost, stolen or illegible.
The majority of films are not classified according to the standards of the Régie du Cinéma. Viewing is at the discretion of the participants. The recommended minimum age is 16 and over, except for Youth sessions.
