* Available online or at the Théâtre C box office (Thursday to Saturday, from 10am to 4pm and until 8pm on show days).
* The passport is also on sale at the ticket offices of the Théâtre Palace and the Théâtre du Palais municipal (from 12pm to 8pm on show days in the theatre where the show is taking place).* In an attempt to reduce the Festival’s ecological footprint, the passport is now 100% digital.
* An ID or proof of study may be required upon entry if a discounted rate was selected at time of purchase.
* Passports are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
* The recommended minimum age is 16, except for Youth sessions.
* We are now accepting the Companion Leisure Card (CAL).

→ Is it possible to purchase a passport to attend in-person screenings?
Yes, the passport for the 29th edition is available now!

→ What does the passport grant access to?
The passport grants you access to all screening, Short Film Market activities, special events and Friday and Saturday Cabarets. 

The passport does not guarantee a seat. Priority entry for the first arrivals.

→ Is it mandatory to purchase a passport to attend in-person sessions?
No, it will also be possible to purchase tickets at a price of $24 for a double bill screening (two programs) and 14$ for a single bill screening if availability allows. see ticket availability on each program page.

→ When will the box office for the 29th edition open?
The passport for the 29th edition is available now! Tickets for the double and single feature screenings will be available for purchase, subject to availability, on February 26th.

→ Will REGARD online be back again this year?
REGARD Online will not be returning as part of our 29th edition. This measure had been put in place in 2021 in response to a lack of space in our screening rooms due to government measures in connection with COVID-19. With the pandemic now behind us, we've taken the decision to focus on the Festival in person, and to put all our resources, both human and financial, into offering quality screening rooms.

→ When will the complete program for #REGARD29 be unveiled?
The complete program will be unveiled on February 26th. Be sure to follow our social media channels to stay updated and not miss anything!

→ What exactly is a double bill?
A double bill consists of two (2) different short film programs with a 20 minutes intermission between them.

→ Is it possible to attend only the second session of a double bill?
You can attend only one of the two sessions if availability permits, but the ticket price remains the same.

→ Is it possible to buy tickets online for the double and single feature screenings?
Yes, but for selected screenings. see ticket availability on each program page.

→ Is it possible to buy tickets for single and/or double screenings at the entrances to the various venues before the screenings?
Yes, tickets will be available at the entrances of all our theatres before the screenings. Please note that onsite ticket sales may be limited depending on the number of tickets sold: it is therefore preferable to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance to ensure a seat.

→ Is there any accreditation for industry professionals?
Yes, as of February 19, industry professionals can obtain a pro accreditation for $125. In addition to all that the regular passport offers, this nominative accreditation gives you access to the Market's activities reserved for professionals, such as the Wednesday 4@6 pros, the pro brunches and the SODEC networking (accessible by registration only).

→ Are there reduced prices for students and seniors?
Yes, students and seniors (60 years and older) receive a discount of $15 on the purchase of the passport.

→ Will there be a printed films catalog this year?
Since the 28th edition, in response to our sustainability goals to produce an eco-friendly Festival, we no longer produce and print a film catalog.

→ Are accessibility measures in place for people with reduced mobility or disabilities?
REGARD is a partner organization of the Companion Leisure Card (CAL) in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region.The CAL grants free admission to the accompanying party of a disabled person. However, you must pay for your own entry.

→ What is the procedure for obtaining my tickets or passports if I have reduced mobility?

For CAL cardholders, simply call Diffusion Saguenay at 418-698-4080 and press 1 for the box office.

During the event, you will be asked to present your CAL.

General purchasing policies

Passports, tickets and online access are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

The prices are in Canadian dollars and include all taxes (5% GST and 9.975% QST). Additional charges will apply for any online purchase.

Tickets purchased online are for personal use and cannot be resold.

Passports and tickets will not be replaced if lost, stolen or illegible.

The majority of films are not classified according to the standards of the Régie du Cinéma. Viewing is at the discretion of the participants. The recommended minimum age is 16 and over, except for Youth sessions.
