Synopsis

The film follows five stories of sexual abuse. Each woman has been involved with the Lenox Hill Women's Shelter in New York city. As the project moves forward, we meet Charlotte a 13-year-old girl whose story is depicted through visual images. She never speaks.

    Laura Pellegrini is a filmmaker and proud co-owner of Rosso Films International. Two of Laura’s films have premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. She is currently writing a feature film called Le Rêve Secret, a romantic fantasy about a blind painter. Next up, Laura is developing a biopic on the fascinating Gilded Age muckracker Jacob Riis.

  • Stefano Da Frè

    FIlmmaker Stefano Da Frè won the Coup de Foudre at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. His company Rosso Films International creates emerging Political Documentaries & Narrative Feature Films about women, people of color and disabilities. He works with a Co-Director Laura Pellegrini also based in New York City. He is honored to be a part of Festival REGARD this year.
