Synopsis

"I do not regret" said Vivianne Gauthier sitting on the bed where she slept for more than eighty years. This singer, this choreographer and dance teacher led her life as it seemed to mark the cultural history of her country Haiti. This film offers an overview of her life through the visit to his home, a Ginger Bread House whose is full of memories.

    Marie-Claude studied in the documentary program of INIS in 2010. Since then, she has realized various short and medium documentary and web documentary films. Mes États Nordiques won the Prix Gémeaux for the Best Interactive Documentary Produced for The Web in 2013. In 2014 working in Haiti, she directed In the courtyard of Vivianne Gauthier a sweet portrait of an emblematic figure of the Haitian culture.

    Marie-Claude Fournier studied in the documentary program of INIS in 2010. Since then, she has realized various short and medium documentary and web documentary films. "MES ÉTATS NORDIQUES" won the Prix Gémeau for the best interactive documentary produced for the web in 2013. In 2014, working in Haiti, she directed "In the courtyard of Vivianne Gauthier" a sweet portrait of an emblematic figure of the Haitian culture.
