Synopsis

Jury Prize winning film

July 5, 2008. Marc, a young boy of 14 years old, dives into the waters of the Prairies river behind the wheel of a stolen car. Invincible tracks the 48 hours that preceded the incident, as Marc is confronted to his need for freendom.

    Vincent René-Lortie is a Montreal director whose work is made from experimental short films and music videos. In the last few years, he has been nominated two times at the UK Music Video Awards and at the prestigious JUNO Awards ceremony. Paying particular attention to dreamlike and surrealist tales, his work goes through the genres of animation, scifi, and dance film. More recently, Vincent has focused on creating two fiction projects, including the short Invincible, currently streaming, and La peau de l'autre, which will enter development phase in 2022.
