Synopsis

La main gauche tells the story of a boy whose teacher and mother struggle to fit him into the mold. As he prepares his oral presentation on left-handedness, we discover his love for drawing, his fascination with his mother's clothes and his mysterious visit to the doctor to try to understand why he is not "normal".

  • Maxime Robin

    Trained at the Mel Oppenheim School of Cinema in Montreal and at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec, Maxime Robin works in his native Quebec City as well as in Montreal and Toronto. He combines work as a director, actor and producer. In 2017, he signed his first short film Ballet Jazz and then co-directed the web series Meilleur avant in 2020.
