Jarvis had just moved to his new empty apartment in Shanghai when the pandemic lockdown began. Hardly dealing with loneliness, he starts having dark and anxious thoughts. The only way to escape from his nightmares is by walking into the deserted city to get to a friend’s house.

Adriano ValerioGraduated from the National University of Milano majoring in Jurisprudence, Adriano Valerio wrote a thesis entitled, “State crimes and religious outrage in Italian cinema.” He studied cinema with Marco Bellocchio before moving to Paris, where he underwent a Fine Arts master’s degree at the International School of Audiovisual Creation and Direction (EICAR). He’s now teaching Direction and Film Analysis at the same school. He collaborated with the Libanese Academy of Fine Arts (Beyrouth), the Marangoni Institute (Paris), and the Italian Culture Institute (Paris) among others. He participated at the Berlinale’s Talent Campus and at the Locarno Festival’s Academy.
