Alexandre IsabelleQuebec-based film-maker and philosophy professor Alexandre Isabelle sees his short films as aphorisms that aim to provoke existential reflections with their poetry. His most awarded short film La partie convinced him to start the production company Silène films in order to create other works as coherent with his approach. In 2021, he will be presenting his brand-new short film, Therefore, Socrates is Mortal.
