Carlo Francisco Manatad is a graduate from the University of the Philippines Film Institute. His short film, Junilyn Has, competed at the Locarno Film Festival and went on to screen at several international film festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, the Upssala International Short Film Festival, Winterthur and the Busan, to name a few. His latest short film, Jodilerks Dela Cruz, Employee of the Month, was selected at the 56th Semaine de la Critique of the 70th Cannes Film Festival. He is currently working on his first feature film, Whether the Weather is Fine.
