Synopsis

Two young German Muslims live together. They observe the culture, the church, the dating, the relationships and each other. One thinks pragmatically, the other romantically. The film follows their paths of finding their way being religious and modern at the same time.

    Felix Herrmann has studied History and Religious Studies in Berlin and Filmmaking at HFF Munich and for one year at ENS Louis Lumière in Paris. Together with Jakob Defant he realized the short film Rough Diamonds which was nominated for the German Short Film Prize. In a collaboration with Camille Tricaud they created the short film Les Sauvages (IDFF Jihlava). His film The ink doesn't dry was part of the Next Generation Selection of German Films in Cannes. And it was nominated for the German Short Film Prize again.
