Synopsis

Katiana speaks about her experience as a woman in Haiti. Because of her gender, she faces many limitations and suffers abuse from men who are more privileged than she is. Despite the challenges of her situation, she has found the courage to achieve greater personal and financial independence.

    Julie Bernier graduated with a bachelor’s degree in arts from Université du Québec. Through performance, video and installation, she tries to raise social issues by infiltrating places where people are on the move and stimulating exchanges and human contacts. Her work inspires her to write texts of documentary and poetic nature.

  • Clarissa Rebouças

    Clarissa Rebouças is a director, writer and editor. She directed more than ten short fictions and documentaries that were selected in some international festivals. Her short film Desvelo (2012) won a total of seven awards. She is currently working on her first feature film Cine Ruby.
