Liminal zones. Floating particles. Fire, water, earth, air. Voices of fictional characters: sometimes suggestive, sometimes strict, leading the viewer away from the here and now. Who's talking? The relationship between the hypnotized subject and the hypnotist is mirrored in the spectator's relationship to the screen.

Matthias MüllerMatthias Müller is an artist working in film, video and photography and studied Arts and German Literature. He organized numerous avant-garde film events and took part in major film festivals worldwide, at which his films and videos were screened.

Christoph GirardetChristoph Girardet studied fine arts at the Braunschweig University of Art. He worked on video supports, film and installations. He started to collaborate with videomaker Volker Schreiner in 1994, then worked with Matthias Müller with whom he directed many projects using digital techniques.
