Synopsis
The script is based on the excerpt Der Kroate from the literary work Germania 3 by Heiner Müller. A farmer from Boeotia returns to his village and family following two years of working in Germany. But he is not the man he used to be anymore.

Stathis ApostolouHe was born in 1981 in Livadia, Boeotia. In 2011, he graduated from the Higher School for Dramatic Arts and received his diploma from the Greek National Ministry of Culture. Since then, he has been working as an actor in films, TV spots and theatrical plays. He has written and directed three theater plays. The Farmer is his first film as a director and producer.
