Synopsis

When Bonnie Ammaaq was little, her parents packed their bags, packed her with her brother on a long sleigh covered in furs and left the community of Igloolik to live off the land, as so many generations of Inuits did before them.

    Bonnie Amaaq lives in Igloolik, Nunavut, with her partner and her children. She works for the Inuit Broadcasting Corporation and has directed two films with the National Film Board: Homemade Sled (2012) and Entre-deux (2015).
