Synopsis

His grandmother's death brings Hansel back to Cuba to take care of his brother Marcos. With the help of an old family game, Hansel attempts to restore his brother’s trust that has been lost over the years.

    Valerie Heine was born in Berlin in 1985. She first studied philosophy and art history. In San Francisco she got in touch with filmmaking through SF Art & Film workshop. She completed her film studies at Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. In 2012, she went to Cuba where she realized her second film project, El carro azul.
