Synopsis

In a wealthy Montreal suburb, Xavier and his friends are hanging out at the park, riding their bikes, mess with each other; it's yet another suburban summer afternoon. But beneath the smiles lies a growing tension, an certain violence which leads the group to a collective release of unexpected intensity; a ritualistic initiation into adolescence.

    Ian Lagarde grew up on movie sets as a young actor, and then studied film production at Concordia University. Upon leaving school, he obtained funding for The American Savannah, a feature documentary. He wrote and directed three short fiction films: Christmas Pious, Board the eye and Solar Wind, which won the award for best director at Regard 2012.
