Writer-director based in Montreal, Joëlle loves cinema that makes the mind smile. Her work in fiction is based on the search for a poetic meaning in everyday life, which she transposes in an offbeat way in her projects, mixing grey humour and fantasy.

Joëlle has just completed the direction of her first feature film, RODÉO, produced by Colonelle Films. The film, which is starting its career in festivals, has been awarded the Borsos Best Director Award and the EDA Award - Best Female-Directed Feature at the Whistler Film Festival 2022. Rodeo will be released in theaters in 2023.
