Synopsis

One summer morning, boredom mingles with the heaviness of the previous evening that turned sour for six-year-old Chichou. In the aftermath of the violence that characterizes this apartment, Reste candidly explores what daily life can look like for a child.

    Ginger moved to Montreal in 2017. She graduated with an honours bachelor’s in film from the Université de Montréal. Her cinematic specificity lies in the exploration of her lived experiences and her commitment to feminism. She is on the board of directors of Réalisatrices Équitables and a coordinator at Colonelle films.
