The Cours écrire ton court ! marathon finished on March 26 after a completely virtual 2021 edition. Among the 91 starters in the race, seven projects made it across the finish line. Associated with an established advisor, these finalists will benefit from creative development workshops and support in refining their scripts, submitted to a group of jury professionals.
Remember that the Court écrire ton court ! Grand Prix is worth a whopping $130,000 and allows the winning project to move into production at warp speed. Competition partners, the Société des auteurs de radio, télévision et cinéma (SARTEC) and the Writers Guild of Canada (WGC) will also award a prize for the most accomplished script in French and English.
So, who will succeed Rafaël Beauchamp as last year’s champ?
