Synopsis

After a late night high school graduation party, Chantal and Delphine find themselves walking home in the dark. Alone in the forest, their long night stroll is filled with carelessness and an irrepressible desire to exist.

    Katerine Martineau is a screenwriter and a director from Montréal who grew up in the Outaouais region. Waiting for Lou (2017), her graduation film, won Canada’s Top Ten Best Live Action Student Short of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in January 2018. Girls Shoudn’t Walk Alone at Night is her first movie since she graduated and her third collaboration with actress Amaryllis Tremblay.
