Paula, Santiago, Lucía and Nicolás decide to stay at their recently deceased grandmother's house while the rest of the adults are at her funeral. Old games, new questions and the absence that still beats between the walls lead the cousins to new ways to deal with their loss.

Marina Nerea MalchiodiMarina Nerea Malchiodi was born in San Miguel, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1995. She is a student and a teaching assistant of image design and sounds at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires (FADU, UBA). She produced Nueva Casa (2019), a short documentary selected at the Buenos Aires’ Independent Film Festival (BAFICI) and in CONSTRUIR CINE. She worked as a Scrip Assistant for Rebolucion. Cousins wait is her first short film as a director.
