    Igor Drljaca is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre and Film at the University of British Columbia. He completed his master’s in Film Production at York University in 2011. He runs the production company Timelapse Pictures with filmmaker Albert Shin. He was the recipient of the Ontario Art Council’s K. M. Hunter Artist Award for Media Arts in 2014. His award-winning short films include Woman in Purple (2010) and The Fuse: or How I Burned Simon Bolivar (2011), which have screened at hundreds of festivals. Igor is currently in post-production on his third narrative feature Tabija a co-production between Canada and Bosnia-Herzegovina, which received Rotterdam’s Cinemart Eurimages Prize and was part of the Cannes L’Atelier program. The Archivists is his latest short film, a dystopian musical starring Noah Reid, Bahia Watson and Maxwell McCabe-Lokos.
