Synopsis

Explore the chaotic worlds of an imagination haunted by bipolar disorder. Guided by the compelling voices of Felicia and François, who have used their sister’s voice mail as their personal diary. The user will embark on a journey to decipher the whirlwind of mania, psychosis and depression.

    After completing her degree in film production at UQÀM, Kalina Bertin gave birth to her award winning documentary film Manic, which explores the legacy of bipolar disorder in her family. Manic has been acclaimed by audiences across the world, and received numerous awards. Aiming to build empathy and awareness toward bipolar disorder, Kalina then went on to direct ManicVR, a virtual reality experience. He is received in the most prestigious festivals. Kalina is currently working on her next documentary film.
