Saguenay international
short film festival

Synopsis

Shot entirely on 16mm film to recapture the aesthetics of the Roaring Twenties, Pidikwe mixes indigenous traditional and contemporary dance to create a unique object that can blur the boundaries between cinema, work of art and performance. Dance and language are linked to a system of knowledge. These are healing tools rooted in community.
