Synopsis
A man is drawn into the footsteps of François Mackandal, the historic Haitian slave leader. Following a man trapped in a curse which started centuries ago, this modern fable folds accounts of the past with the resilience of the present.

Vincent ToiVincent Toi is a Montreal-based Mauritian filmmaker and curator. He graduated in Design and also in Film Production. He works as a curator for PHI center and DCH Art Museum. His first feature, a documentary entitled I've Seen the Unicorn (2014) was screened in numerous festivals.
