Synopsis

A young girl runs away from her group home, only to be picked up by a dangerous stranger. In Canada, there are over 1 200 documented cases of missing and murdered Indigenous girls and women. This film shines light on that issue.

    Jacobs is a film and television actress, mainly known for her leading role as Aila in the award-winning feature film Rhymes for Young Ghouls (2013). Her most recent work will include Kirsten Carthew’s The Sun at Midnight (2016) as the leading role of Lia, as well as her directorial debut of the short film Stolen.
