Synopsis

Artificial grass on the balcony, a meeting hall with a forest wallpaper, a palm beach in the waiting room of the dentist. This short documentary examines the role of nature simulations in our society. To what extent does artificial nature satisfies the city dwellers and where are this simulations still falling short? Will artificial nature ever replace real nature?

    Sebastian had studied film at The School Of Arts Utrecht, Netherlands and he recently graduated with the film Nature: All Rights Reserved which premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival 2016 and gave him a nomination for the Diorapthe Award (Best Director). Being fascinated with the changing relationships between humans and nature, he hopes to examine this subject more in his future work.
