Synopsis

Wanting to help the inhabitants of a mining village of Colombia, Dr. Diaz opposes GreenWorld multinational and must flee for his life. He now lives in Canada and works at the Hospital. In addition to the long hours spent in the hospital, he practiced medicine at home helping the poor, some of whom are illegal immigrants. Aware of the dangers that this entails, Dr. Diaz is, nevertheless, unable to remain idle.

    Benoit Desjardins is both an anthropologist and a filmmaker. Graduated of the Université de Montréal in film studies, he founded Les Productions Perceptions 3i. He has since written, produced and directed several short films including Welcome Yankee (2012) with which he has participated in more than 60 festivals and won 9 awards. In 2014, he founded the Festival Longue vue sur le court.
