Synopsis

While driving along a road in the Tunisian desert in an old battered van on their way to market to sell their sheep, an old man and his grandson are stopped by two policemen. In order to be allowed to leave, they have to accept a strange and unusual deal.

    Lotfi Achour is an actor, filmmaker, stage director and theatre manager living between Paris and Tunis. Trained in theatre at the Sorbonne and documentary production at the Ateliers Varan in Paris, he has directed four short films selected and awarded in several festivals. In 2016, he finished two films, a feature film Tomorrow at dawn and his fifth short La Laine sur le dos, selected for the 69th Cannes Festival.
