Synopsis
Squame explores the sensitive shell of the body, the skin. The animation of his ephemeral peeling, made with sugar casts evokes fragile landscapes opening on worlds on the edge of abstraction.

Nicolas BraultBorn in 1975 in Montreal, Nicolas Brault is a graduate of UQAM. He won the NFB’s Cinéaste recherché(e) contest in 2000. Since 2012, he developed a series of short non-narrative films and immersive projections around the human body.
