Bring Your Own Screen

As part of Digital Eye, directors Boran Richard, Jean-Philppe Archibald and Samuel Pinel-Roy were challenged to shoot a film using only a cell phone. A true technological challenge, this project created by Bande Sonimage prompted many reactions on social media.

“At -15 degrees Celcius, the phone has 10 minutes of autonomy.”

“Improbable encounters take me much further than I planned.”

“One of the advantages of shooting fiction with a phone is that you can buy a car rig at any Dollarama.”

These are some of the comments which characterized the creation of three films that you will have the pleasure of viewing. Bring your monitor (phone, tablet or computer) and your earphones because this screening is happening on your mobile device via the internet.
