    Xavier Beauchesne-Rondeau studied cinema at UQÀM and INIS. In 2012, Il ne fait pas soleil (The sun doesn't shine) won the “Tourner à tout prix!” jury prize at Regard sur le court métrage au Saguenay). He is now working on the completion of his first feature, Hier, aujourd'hui, hier (Yesterday, today, yesterday), and finished two new short films, Avalée (Swallowed) and Mémé Carabine (Shotgun Grandma).
