Synopsis

In one of the most remote places in the Peruvian Amazon, an Ashéninka boy must overcome his fears and catch a giant catfish using only a hook to start his journey as an adult.

    Documentary filmmaker with a decade of experience developing short films on social and environmental issues (UN, WWF, WCS, among others). A Fulbright scholar, she obtained an MFM in Documentary Filmmaking in New York and Los Angeles. There, she directed 'Paperthin' (2018), and 'Mamá' (2019). In 2022 she directed her last short film 'Shirampari' thanks to a National Geographic Explorers Grant.
