Fleuron
Charline Dally
Canada (Quebec), Experimentation
Set against a backdrop of UK jungle rhythms, shimmering trance chords, and ethereal choir samples, “Fleuron” emerges from a place of “incandescent joy,” weaving together themes of desire, bliss, and the transformative power of fire. Teaming up with artist and director Charline Dally, the accompanying video is a mesmerizing collage of analog process and hypnotic textures. Featuring footage of de Lorimier herself and meditative scenes of glass-blowing, she evokes the sensual, hypnotic essence of fire.

Fuck the Fascism - The Crossroad of Two Worlds
Maria Basura Pandemicxxx
Chile, Spain,
In Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, the Selk'nam descendant Marcos García tells the horrific story of the ethnocide of the Fuegian peoples. His testimony makes us aware of how this history continues to repeat itself; and how the precursors of these massacres and their heirs - now powerful businessmen and politicians - are still responsible for the usurpation of native lands and the violent repression against communities. In the past, it was the mutilation of Selk'nam ears; now, in the midst of the Chilean social rebellion, it is the eyes of the mestizos that are being shot by the police.
MariaBasura and other activists decide to take a revenge that will lead them to a small town in Asturias, Spain, birthplace of Jose Menendez Menendez, one of the forefathers of the genocide against the native peoples of the south.

GERHARD
Ulu Braun
Germany, Animation
It is an ecstatic biopic about the world's most successful living painter. In vivid images, this AI hybrid film sheds light on the social role of painting in the tension between creativity, capital investment, and spirituality. We are currently in the transition phase from analog to artificial reproducibility. Gerhard's unique painting techniques, especially squeegeeing, have triggered worldwide hype. His techniques and ideas are being adapted, refined, and improved by global “protagonists” and then flooded the markets (+ social media). The myth of the “genius” writes itself into the DNA of an increasingly uncontrollable creation chain as a fabulous and controversial homage.
