The festival-goers who will attend our in-person activities will have the opportunity to continue their cinematographic discoveries online and the cinephiles from everywhere in Canada will be able to live the REGARD experience through the 150 shorts that will be available on our custom on demand platform.

Is the platform easy to navigate?
The REGARD online platform works similarly to the on demand video platforms you know. We have also put in effort to make the experience user friendly for our attendees.
What short films will I be able to find on the REGARD online platform?
The entire programmation for our 25th edition containing roughly 150 short films will be available. We’re talking about our official competitive programs, the parallel competitive programs, the thematic programs and the youth programs. That’s a lot to see!
Will I be able to select the short films I want to see?
Yes, you’ll be able to watch programs in their entirety or select films individually. All the short films will be available for the duration of REGARD online, from June 14 to 27, and you can listen to them as many times as you like.
Will the films be subtitled?
Yes, you’ll be able to activate subtitles in french or in english.
Will I be able to vote for my favorite short film?
Yes, the Public Choice’s award presented by Nutrinor still exists! You’ll be able to vote by adding a heart to your favorite film on the platform.
Will I be able to see the films on my TV?
Of course! Using a Chromecast, Apple TV or another diffusion device, you’ll be able to diffuse the platform from your mobile to your television. You can also use an HDMI cable connected from your computer to your television or use the web navigator of your smart TV.
Will there be a printed catalogue as usual?
No, but you can find all the details of all the films from our programmation on our website.
Will the Festival REGARD only be online this year?
No! The Festival REGARD will have an in person section from June 7th to June 13th in Saguenay with activities in theaters and outside. We’ll be presenting the entire programmation, the same films from REGARD online, but it might be more difficult to see everything with the limited calendar.
Will my ACCESS to REGARD online allow me to attend both the indoor and outdoor components?
No, it is an access for the platform only! Tickets for the Festival in person from June 7 to 13 in Saguenay will be available on May 26.
