What do the artists of the PPAF do when you give them carte blanche? They try to make things more queer, draw a subtle picture of contemporary post-pornography, suggest survival strategies based on tenderness, desire, touch. All in a context of visibility, representativeness and political resistance, because the post-porn movement is still a battlefield.
“Claiming the right to pleasure and taking the side of the excluded, the stigmatized and the erased, we invite you on a sensual and sexual journey from the cult project Fuck the Fascism, whose trailblazing decolonization opened new avenues for post-porn art, to the highly sensitive behind-the-scenes of sex work in the short film Lizzy and Seyah. We’ll explore the binary balance in The Edge, pay tribute to rebellion with Nacer ceniza, laugh at surprising queer privileges in Plenum in Tuntenhaus, and finally take comfort in the collective tenderness of the films Eden III Medusa, Estellar se and Mutant island. And, as a playful response to the howling demons of modernity, after leaving the theatre we’ll all shout out together: Make postporn great again!”
