Synopsis

Florence (8) accompanies her sister Simone (6) to meet Santa Claus at the local market. The magic is at its peak when a traumatic incident occurs: Santa is seized by violent tremors and collapses. In shock, Florence will do everything to protect her little sister's imagination.

    Justine Martin is a screenwriter and director based in Montreal and a graduate of Concordia University in film studies. She is influenced by themes such as childhood, feminism, and environmental awareness. In 2021, she directed her first short documentary, Oasis, which was notably recognized at IDFA, Dok Leipzig, and Clermont-Ferrand.
