With nearly 60 exclusives and the pick of the year’s very best films, these ten programs resonate with relevancy and celebrate creativity. Vibrant and captivating stories, poetry and magic, humour and sadness: the best Canadian and international films of the year put a panoply of genres and emotions on proud display. In addition to two critics’ prizes, presented by the AQCC and FIPRESCI juries, five award winners will be selected by the Official Competition jury. The awards will include $65,000 in cash and professional services. You’ll also have your say! By voting for your favourite film after each screening, your picks will be in the running for the coveted Audience Award, and could be included in the Audience Favourites selection that closes the Festival.

In order to give the priority to people that already bought their passports, tickets will not be available online for this event. However, it is possible to buy tickets at the room's entrance before the beginning of the projection. Please note that the capacity of tickets sold on the event's site is limited. We therefore suggest arriving at least 30 minutes before the hour of the projection.
