This year, many of you told us which films from last year’s festival have worked their way into your family lore, sparking discussions and laughter months after the festival, in some cases. We can’t imagine a nicer compliment! And because your comments motivate us like nothing else, we’ve organized four new memorable activities for you this year.

To see a sea of amazed little eyes and feel your heart melt to the sound of children’s laughter, we’ve got two different Family shorties programs: one in Jonquière, on the Saturday, and one in Chicoutimi, on the Sunday. Why not attend both?

For the curious who’d like to take their emerging passion for film to the next level by discovering films of every genre, from all over the world, we have the Big kids shorts selection for kids ages 8-12, their parents and the other adults in their lives.

Finally, our teen selection Ici et maintenant (Right Here Right Now) has been completely revamped this year: four teens programmed it! Alice, Maélie, Mila and Maïa, led by their hearts, tastes and their generation’s preoccupations, selected a group of highly topical films.
