Synopsis

Tom, a Flemish comedian used to make cartoons character’s voices, replaces offhand a friend doubler. He finds himself in the studio of a pornographic french speaking film. Catherine, an experienced actress, will be his partner. Tom will play the plumber.

    After law studies, Xavier Seron started the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in 2001. In 2005, Rien d’insoluble, his end of studies short film, is awarded in numerous film festivals all around the world, including at the Venice Mostra. In 2011, he made, with Méryl Fortunat-Rossi, an ethological short film called Moonshine. In 2015, he signed up for another film with Méryl Fortunat- Rossi. Their new short, a bucolic fantasy called The black bear, was selected in several festivals worldwide. Xavier just achieved his first feature film, Death by Death. Since 2012, he has been supervising the end of studies short films at IAD.

  • Méryl Fortunat-Rossi

    French director born in Arles in 1979. He discovered photography in High school before turning to cinema. Between 1998 and 2000, he directed a few amateur short films before coming to Belgium to study filmmaking at the « Institut des Arts de Diffusion » (IAD) . In 2011, he started his collaboration with director Xavier Seron with the docudrama Moonshine. In 2014, he co-directed The black bear with Xavier Seron, a short film selected in a thousand film festivals.
