Saguenay international
short film festival

100% Regions

While it no longer needs any introduction, we are always very proud to host the one and only competition in Quebec that celebrates regional productions. Hailing from Saguenay and Côte-Nord to Bas-du-Fleuve, Montérégie and Centre-du-Québec, these films showthe range of talents in our non-metropolitan regions, whether homegrown or transplanted. While some of these filmmakers offer personal perspectives on rural life, others, while just as firmly grounded in their area, prefer to tell universal stories. Stay or go, flee or be ignored, contemplate or agitate: these are the questions and dualities explored in this program.

Don't forget to vote for your favorite short film at the end of each screening! Public Vote

Films with the highest number of votes will win the Parallel Competition Public Award presented by Romeo & Fils & Post-Moderne.
The winning shorts will also be part of the Public's Favourite screening that will take place on Sunday, March 27 at 7pm at Théâtre C.
