Renee ZhanRenee is a Chinese-American director and animator from Houston, Texas. She graduated from Harvard University in 2016 with a degree in Visual and Environmental Studies. In her films Renee is primarily interested in exploring topics of the body, nature, sexuality- all things beautiful, ugly, and squishy. Her short films have screened and won awards internationally including the Jury Prize for Animated Short at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
