Mutual enthusiasm

Less than two months before its 22nd edition of the Festival starts, REGARD’s team is proud to reveal the identity of the 2018 spokesperson. The whole Festival team is happy to collaborate with the actress Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse.

Marie Elaine Riou, REGARD’s Executive Director, is most delighted about the news since she considers Sarah-Jeanne as "an artist in her twenties whose talent reaches all audiences."

On her end, the new spokesperson states that she has "always liked short films" and that she "can’t wait to discuss about our favorite films between two screenings or two French fries" with the audience.

Her projects

Very involved in cinema and in television since her earliest youth, we can currently see her in the hit series Les pays d’en haut and Le chalet.

Sarah-Jeanne and the shorts

As for short films, the public has enjoyed her presence on the Festival’s screens in movies such as Sandra, by Léa Clermont-Dion in 2012, Switch and bitch, by Sophia Belahmer and Juliette Gosselin in 2015 or in Les chiens ne font pas des chats, by Cristina Martins in 2016.

Finally, next February, she will be seen in the web series Féminin/Féminin, a series by Chloé Robichaud, who also left a mark on the
Festival.
